In this game, players grab their haversacks and set off to the infamous Roundforest. Their goal is to collect three golden apples and deliver them to the Forest Spirit who, in return, will give them the legendary emerald ring that empowers them to control the magical forest.
The Roundforest is an enchanted place where weird objects are scattered about, and wherever the weary wanderers move, the ground begins to turn below their feet. This forest is by no means deserted! If you keep wandering for a while, you might encounter creatures such as a magic steed, the smith of the giants, a witch, a wealthy merchant, a puzzled sculptor, a beggar, or a bandit – and even the Devil itself! Some give or ask for help, while others are hostile and make your life difficult. You can only count on the amicable Fairy, but even she will ask a few thalers for her services.
